Abstract
This project aims to study and develop 3-way cutting force dynamometer. for turning It can measure the cutting force in the direction Fc , Ff , Fr to measure the cutting force in the actual metal cutting process in the production process. Then use the information obtained to study the guidelines for the use of production machinery tools appropriately.
The dynamometer has a cantilevered component. It serves to measure the force produced by using Thin sheet metal resistivity strain gauge Mounted on a piece of dynamometer around the cantilever Positioned in the direction that the value of the signal corresponds to the direction of the actuating force, the measured signal is amplified and converted from analog to digital. and processing using a sensor interface, presenting the data as graphs on a computer screen in real time.
The results of the test showed that the dynamometer applied It has been developed that can measure force in 3 directions. are the cutting force direction Fc, the cutting force direction Ff, and the depth feed direction Fr. It can also measure temperatures up to 1250 degrees.
