Abstract
This project is the design and construction of a metal scrap baler from machining with a high Doliks Ligs Objectives of this project To create a scrap metal compactor from machined cutting by the system. Hydraulics come to use and to study the variables affecting production capacity and efficiency. Working on a metal scrap compactor from hydraulics machining.
This hydraulic metal scrap baler is 1,350 cm wide and long. 1,600 centimeters and 1,100 centimeters high, using hydraulic cylinders with 7 tons of compression, using 3 phase electricity, 380 volts.
From this experiment, the optimum compressive strength was a pressure of 150 bar at the amount of scrap metal used. The experiment weighs 20 kg. When compacted, a metal lump with a width of 40 cm and a length of 33 is obtained. centimeter and height 40 centimeters. The test results show that the scrap metal can be compacted completely and with the highest density. and the incompressible lumps of metal do not break apart.
